Aerialists is a JUNO nominated neo-folk quintet from Toronto, Canada. Their music combines a love for folk tradition with a deep desire to experiment with form. With one album under their belt, the band has already made a name for themselves with a distinctive hybrid approach to traditional music; their songs carry historical weight without ever being stale or tired.
Aerialists are ethereal yet precise, technical yet visceral, and every song feels like a new beginning. With a second album Dear Sienna slated for release in early 2020, the band adds vocals in English, Swedish, and Gaelic, winning over audiences with their graceful musicianship and restless experimentation.

Madison McFerrin is an independent singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn, NY. In December of 2016, she quietly introduced her soulful take on a cappella to the world when she self-released Finding Foundations: Vol. I. After one listen, tastemaking DJ, Gilles Peterson, snatched up her standout track, “No Time to Lose,” for his Brownswood Bubblers compilation. Leading up to her sold out debut show at Joe’s Pub, the New York Times remarked how her sound “shows wonderful vocal dexterity, deftly swerving from sharp, clearly enunciated staccato bursts to fluttery, free-form melismata.”
The Essential Jaco Pastorius is a 2CD compilation by the late American jazz bassist Jaco Pastorius. While the CD features material from the one album he did for Epic Records, it also focuses on tracks he did with or for other artists, including his time with Weather Report plus sessions with Joni Mitchell, Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny and Michel Colombier. This was put together by Epic Legacy.

The new album from New York singer, songwriter and producer Elliot Moss. Across eleven songs, Moss confronts the recent upheavals and adjustment periods in his life. A Change In Diet is a brave, inward-looking opus filled with sublimely simple textures, spartan beats, and poignant songwriting. Barricade, a song about the emotional stranglehold of obsessive relationships, features a steady drone that Moss likens to the sensation of falling, while its chorus suggests that boundaries are sometimes the only way to avoid feeling trapped. Silver and Gold and the album’s spiritual centerpiece Bodyintoshapes are powerful showcases of Moss’ newly incisive wordplay. And while July 4 details the ways we often run and hide from our pain, the act of writing these songs was anything but a retreat. With A Change In Diet, Moss begins a new journey, powered by a willingness to share his soul unadorned.
